16 oz. Nonwoven Geotextile
Filter Fabric for Asphalt Overlay
The 16 oz/yd² nonwoven geotextile is the highest textile available and offers a grab tensile strength of 380 lbs, which is more then most wovens can hold. Made of the highly durable polypropylene fabric, these geotextiles are high in strength, as well as naturally high resistance to UV exposure, rot and other ground chemicals. The fabric is brought together by a needle-punturing system that increases flexibility in the fabric.
The 16 oz. can take on the toughest erosion problems for some of the hardest reinforcement jobs. However, if this strength is more than your application needs, additional lighter weights are available with grab tensile options as low as 80 pounds.
